We are immensely proud to be a member of the Society of Allied Independent Funeral Directors. SAIF was established in 1989 and represents more than 900 privately owned, independent funeral homes across the UK. David Massam is a member of the Executive committee of SAIF regularly attending meetings with other independent funeral directors to work on policy, procedures and best practice.

SAIF work hard within the profession to promote best practice and protect the interests of our members and their local communities.

Along with representing the views of our members at a national and local level SAIF also provide training and education programmes to ensure they continue to meet the highest of standards.

As an independent firm with community at its heart, we recognise that cost is a big concern for many families. As a result, our prices are very competitive and often lower than larger funeral organisations. The full cost of a funeral (including all third party fees such as those for coffins, catering and flowers) will be clearly explained upfront and we offer a range of payment options.

Simple funeral

As a member of SAIF we offer a simple funeral option for families on a low income. This maintains the high standards and dignity you would expect from a funeral but at a lower cost. For those who are eligible we can also help with applications for financial support from the government.
